BSD Software

BSD Software was established in June 1986 as a software development company specializing in system utility and database application software for commercial publication.

Throughout the 1990's, our focus was graphic adventure games and nuclear war simulators for Commodore and IBM computers and client/server database applications for the new Microsoft platforms.

With the advent of the 21st century, BSD Software has focused almost exclusively on software and DBA services for the medical industry. Automated billing, EMR, medical scheduling, provider compensation, automated clinic check-in and point of sale, and process management are just a few of the custom software packages created for many medical practices.

BSD software has a long and proud history of producing powerful, robust custom software packages on time and under budget.

We also provide server and help desk services as well as database administration and network administration services for the mid-coast Maine region. Our service area extends from Portland and surrounding towns in the south to the Augusta area in the north.
